Here are some card samples of the Kanban Vintage Flowers sheet. It took me a while to find right the card and paper colours to create these cards, because the pink is an unusal colour, but it was worth the wait and it just worked perfect when they came together. Butterfiles Galore

Hi Everyone,
When I saw these paper tole sheets I loved them on first sight. I incorporated my love of stamping and colouring with these images. The red butterflies I stamped first, then embossed the card and then layered the butterflies on top. The yellow butterflies I embossed first, then coloured with sakura gel pens and then layered the butterflies on top. I really enjoy combining many techniques together when making my cards, see how many techniques you can combine as well.

Hi Everyone,

Here are some more valentines day cards this time using stickers. My poor heart die cuts have had a real working over this weekend. The sticker sheet is new but the remaining matrials were made from scraps left over from previous projects. It's amazing what you can create from those bits and pieces you saved for that rainy day. Well this was a rainy weekend where I lived and I pulled out my rainy day leftovers. So you all give it a try and see if you can make some cards from leftovers as well.

Valentines Day Cards Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Well Valentines day is approaching and decided to so some samples for the shop. I set myself a challenge to use materials which were not designed for valentines and here are the results. I used a baby paper tole sheet as the feet of the bears had hearts on them, then I used silver swirl ribbon from our christmas range, die cut the hearts to create these gorgeous cards. I hope you like them.

I love exploring by using different things and I made this snowflake tree decoration from glitter flower stickers by cutting the petals in half and gluing together I layer them onto glitter circle base and created this snowflake. We created this tage christmas card in our Christmas In July Class. I like to use other colours sometimes for christmas and these colours of brown, cream and pink worked beautiful. We die cut snowflakes and used the Martha Stewart bird edge punch to create this tag trifold card. I was happy with the result of this card and they all enjoyed making it.

Graphic 45 Workshop 2011

One of our workshops this year we created this book from the Graphic 45 Circus papers. We have a fun day usually on a Sunday and we work all day bearly stopping for lunch, prepared by my husband the chef, in the morning we always create our scrapbook pages or book and in the afternoon create a set of cards from the scraps.

Hi Everyone,

Created this stationery set in one of our classes earlier this year. I use basic grey paper and loved the colour combination of lime green and black. We created embellishments for the cards and stamped sentiments and placed them in the little boxes in the front so you can place whatever you want on the cards. There are six cards also in there. Wishing you all a happy christmas and a wonderful new year. This year has been challenging for some and I hope the new year brings better times for us all. I'm looking forward to being a grandparent again next year number 4.

This is the first time in ages that I'm ready for christmas in time. So my time off can be spent relaxing going to the beach and pictures with my husband, coffee and lunch with family and more time with the grandchildren.

We created these cards in class last month using tissue paper and stamps. It's amazing what you can do with a plain piece of tissue paper by colouring, stamping and scrunching, add a piece of ribbon or mesh to give it the finished look. I used bo bunny stamp set for the final layer.

Here I have used the Martha Stewart around the page punch sets with the Bo Bunny Gabriella papers. The second card was a challenge to use the butterfly bo bunny paper along with the string, die cut flourish etc. The first card is a result of making the first card as I liked experimenting with the punches. Sakura Star Pens

Hi Everyone,

These cards have been created with stickers and sakura star pens. I have coloured from the back on velumn. They give a soft and gentle colouring finish. I've also used the pens to colour the embossed areas on the card front. These star pens work one velumn and cardstock surfaces, experiment with them and see the results.

Distress Reinkers Colouring

Hi Everyone,

Here is another medium you can use to colour your images. I used gloss cardstock and coloured with distress reinkers and a paint brush. It doesn't give you the depth of colour like copic pens but you can still get shading and dimension.

I created the frames using two spellbinder die cuts the outside one scalloped and a smaller inside plain circle. I put tape on them before die cutting so they don't move and the frame is cut evenly.

Have a try and see what you come up with.

I created this card using the copic pens. I just love using them, colouring in from a very early age I get excited when using the copics as I can achieve the shading and dimension like no other colour medium. All the girls created this in our class and believe it they looked just the same as mine when they finished. I was very proud of them all.

She is one classy lady.

Here are the latest card kits. The first kit is from a company called Simple Stories made with the traditional christmas colours. The second kit is from Graphic 45 made with all those earth colours. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them for you all. Kits cost $25 + postage.

Christmas is approaching quickly and like me time will run out and before you know it, it's all over and we have filled ourselves with all the wonderful foods and drinks for the festive season.

TUE 11^TH OCT – Diamond Spring Card – We will create our card with a diamond spring top great card for your all.

TUE 18^TH OCT - Faux Linen Finish – Today we will gloss card and sandpaper to create our card, something with a difference. Please bring a sanding block with you today.
